Dr. Annah Terry
I am a 2003 graduate, magna cum laude, of the University of Missouri Veterinary College. Since graduation, I have practiced in the Kansas City area. I came to Farview Veterinary Hospital in July of 2009 to start practicing small animal medicine. I have enjoyed practicing at Farview ever since and can honestly say I look forward to coming to work every day. Farview is a quality-care, patient-oriented, family-oriented practice with a long history in the area. My professional interests include: orthopedic procedures especially cranial cruciate ligament repairs, neonatal care, canine reproduction, and soft-tissue surgeries.
On a personal note, I enjoy such hobbies as fishing, camping, hiking with the dogs and reading a good book. I have four dogs: Emma the Dachshund, Susie Monkey Face the Pomeranian mix, Arnold the Chihuahua and Ava the Rottweiler. All my dogs are black and tan and I like to refer to them as my Black-and-Tan Horde. I also have an elderly mare named Heaven who is in her mid-30s. She has been apart of my life since I was nine years old and I grew up having adventures on her back. I also keep a saltwater fish tank with brings me much stress-relief and joy. I love my pets immensely and like to think that I treat my patients with the same compassion and care.

I am a 2014 graduate from Kansas State University and have been working at Farview Veterinary Hospital since June of 2014. I have been very lucky to be welcomed into this family and enjoy working with them every day. An added benefit of this practice is the quality of clients we have, they are exceptional and trust us with the care of their four-legged family members. My special interests are in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and radiology.
I married my best friend, Dustin, in 2015 and we have loved starting our family here in Independence. We got our first pet, Archie in early 2016 and he is Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix. Archie definitely knows he rules our household but he loves meeting new people and pets. His best friend is one of the clinic cats named Dave. They love playing when Archie gets to come to work with me. My pets are family and I take care of my patients as I would my own.

I am a 2016 graduate from the University of Missouri-Columbia and have been working at Farview Veterinary Hospital since June of 2016. I grew up in Independence, just down the road from Farview, and my family and I have always brought our pets here. We have always loved the attentive and caring attitudes of the doctors and staff and I am overjoyed to have been welcomed as a doctor here upon my graduation from veterinary school. I have felt at home here since my first day and I love the adorable patients and caring clients that I'm privileged to see every day. My special interests are in special imaging (such as radiology) and alternative medicine (such as laser therapy).
I married my loving wife, Kayla, in 2016 as well and have been lucky enough to bring her back to my home town to start our family. We acquired our first pet, a medium haired cat named Mr. Tibbers, as a kitten in 2012. We got our next pet, a Labrador-Blue Heeler mix named Anistasia, as a puppy in 2014 and her and Mr. Tibbers were constant companions and delights in Kayla and my's life as we went through school together. Our most recent family member, a Mini Australian Shepherd, was added to the family as a puppy in 2016 and our small family is only looking to grow in size as we settle back in to the community. As we set deep roots in Independence, I look forward to being able to help many families and their four legged family members in the years to come.
